Illegal use of images?

My ex-husband to be is threatening to sue me because I had posted photos of him I took without his knowledge of him sucking his thumb, I posted them because people did not believe me he was doing that. I did take them down just to be safe
but what are the laws pertaining to posting photos on the internet?

The laws are confusing at best. I'd apologize and promise to never do something that stupid again. Why embarrass a person you once loved? That was mean and stupid. How would you like it done to you?

He won't sue. He can't prove you did, now that you have taken them down. But, fix it, or he just may carry out his threat.

Well I posted them when we were together, I was also asking advice on how to fix this thumb sucking problem

Well as far as it being done to me, I would have fixed the problem that my partner had with me before they felt like they had to resort to posting my pic and if not then shame on me for being so disgusting in front of others, or maybe it would have made me realize I need to change..

Luckily these pics will help me in my divorce, a grown old man shouldnt be doing this especially in front of his kids.

I suppose he'll sue you, or maybe he won't.

I'll bet he's glad he divorced you.

But, he isn't that smart.

You weren't, either.

You must have been desperate to marry a thing that had a propensity to suck its thumb.

I'll bet thumbs weren't the only digit that creature sucked!!!

Had he been really smart, he'd never have dated you, bred you, or married you.

I hope that protective order works.
