My daughter lives with her grandparents she is 18 and is currently a high school senior. She wants to move out of her grandparents, but was told by the school deputy that as long as she was in school she couldn't leave there. Please help because I just don't believe this if she is 18 what does her still being in school matter?

Reaching the age of majority (18) doesn't mean she gets to do whatever she wants, whenever she wants, wherever she wants.

As for what the school deputy "told" her, she is free to ask the school deputy to cite the statute that supports his statement.
