I have a 7 year old boy that lives in AZ and his mother is completely making it impossible for me to visit him... nor will she let me talk to him on the phone.

I've been trying for years to get some sort of visitation, but I now live in MN and she won't budge one bit.

I know that I can file papers to the court in AZ to change the order, but I wouldn't even know how to do this considering I live in MN now.

I will say that I'm behind on child support from the court order we had 7 years ago, but I've constantly called the caseworker to let him know what's going on with my situation, I don't hide from them nor have I ever. If I changed my employment, I reported it... just like I'm supposed to.

I've sent cards to him and they all got sent back... I've tried calling him but she falls off the face of the earth anytime I say something she doesn't like...

I'm absolutely at my wits end on this and I just want to spend time with my boy.

Any advice would be great.

thanks.

Is there a court order for visitation> by the way support and visitation have nothing to do with each other. She cannot keep the child from because you are behind in support

Yes there is an order for visitation, but when we went to court she lied and said I was violent and had a drug problem, so the court only granted me 1 hour a week supervised visitation... since then mind you before I moved to MN she was leaving him with me and I would go to her apartment and she would leave so that we could spend alone time together... completely unsupervised.

You'll need to file in AZ contempt. AZ does have a vast mediation dept as well and you can maybe see about scheduling a phone hearing? Otherwise you'll have to travel to AZ.
