Okay, let me explain.
Back in August of 2008, I got drunk, and got into a fight with my brothers girlfriend. My "fiance" was watching my son while I was out. We lived with my brother and his girlfriend, by the way. When I got into the fight, my son was there-but he was in the back room asleep. He saw none of the fight. DFCS got called, and I went to jail. I'm still dealing with them, even though they know I'm a good mom, and always took care of my son. He's saftey planned right now, and I can't see him unsupervised. I've been doing EVERYTHING they've asked, and their just dragging it out. Now, I have to go to court, and they may take custody. WHY!! Is there anything I can do? Can I fight DFCS, or is there anyway my fiance and I can get around it? They won't give him custody, because he doesn't have legal rights-even though he IS the father. Can we get married sooner, and me turn over custody to him? Or, is there anything at ALL that we can do?
