My ex- girlfriend had a baby 11 years ago and put another mans name on the birth cirtificate. Now she is trying to nail me for child support. Can she legally do this??

Is the other man paying support up to now?

She won't be able to get support unless you agree the child is yours or until a DNA test proves it.

what state are you in? If another man is the legal father then it is possible this ex girlfriend is totally out of luck. She committed paternity fraud. She just cannot switch daddies 11 years later but it depends on the laws in your state for disputing paternity. If she is asking for money ignore her. She will have to file for child support and if you are sure another man is on her birth cert then you may not be on the hook for anything. You might want to talk to an attorney. Start googling the statutes in your state for disputing paternity-normally there is a short time frame after the birth to do this.
