My sister has had two children that my my mother raises because she has been struggling with drugs and at one point abused her child in public and was jailed. She is now pregnant again with the full intention of giving me the child to raise as my own because I have had many miscarriages and I am in a domestic partnership so it is expensive to keep trying with a doctor's assistance. I am only worried that we will have complications adopting the baby or gaining custody of the baby so I want to get it out of the way before the baby gets here. We are in Tennessee and I don't know how to go about this. Help please.
