Fraud, Embezzlement, Bad Checks How long can he be held in jail?

My husband was arrested in Washington Parish for a warrant out of Tangipahoa Parish for a bad check. How long can Washington Parish hold him until Tangipahoa goes to get him? He has been there since Saturday evening.
