How do I register my German divorce in the US?

I am a US citizen who was married to a German citizen. We were living in German and have subsequently divorced in Germany. I would like this divorce acknowledged/registered in the US. What do I have to do?

Note: I am still living in Germany.
My home of record is El Paso, Texas.

There's no requirement for you "register" your foreign divorce in the US.
You're divorced, and nothing more need be done.
Should you one day desire to remarry, there would still be no requirement to register the divorce in the US.
