Mom is dying. Lawyer has the will. Younger brother is the executor. Will their be a formal reading? Can I obtain a copy of the will?

There need not be a formal reading of the will. You can obtain a copy by asking the executor. If he refuses to give you one, you might be able to obtain it from court. The will might need to be probated - which means it will be filed in court and the court supervises the collection and distribution of assets. Contact the court nearest where your mother lived.
