how can i win a battle over custody?!?

i moved a couple months ago to BGO with my brother so i can get good schooling, get away from a abusive lifestyle and just to be in a safe loving home! well everything was going fine untill i had to enroll in the school down there!! the school there says the person that im staying with has to have gardieanship of me in order for me to go to the school! so my brother got co gardieanship of me and i was fine going to the school there for awhile!!! but when it came time to do a required home study, they said i could'nt live there because my brother works 3rd shift and there wouldn't be anyone home to watch me at night!! i dont think thats right!! i moved to ohio so i can get away from my horrible life in michigan and i was doing so good in ohio!! i was eating healthy, was doing good in school, and was with the person i love the most!! i just wanted to know if there's anyway i could fight to get his co gardieanship back!!

Unless you were 18 you do not have the right to move unless you are emancipated. You just cannot take off. If your parents are abusive then you need to contact CPS and have have your brother file for guardianship but you are still a minor and if you are left alione at night that will be a problem.

no i didn't take off! my mom said i could go down to ohio and stay with my brother but things didn't work out! yah know i dont understand, my brothers trying to do a good thing for me but in the end i cant be with him! now im back in a bad situation! i bet if the state of ohio did a home study on everyone in the state, half the people would'nt have thier children!!! and thats too bad!! i really wish i could have stayed with my brother!! thank you though! i tried calling CPS but my dad's such a good lier he aways gets himself out of stuff!! no one will believe me!!

If you're in school, try talking to the guidance counsellor. If there really is abuse going on, they have to report it. Not saying the outcome will be any better, but that's one more complaint from an outside source.
