Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Help Caught Drinking At A Club (michigan)

I was at the State Theater in Detroit tonight, and I was caught holding a beer. The bouncer took me the lobby of the club and called his backup. They asked me for my ID and I gave it to them they then proceeded to write my information down on a piece of paper that said State Theater on it. They asked me to look in a camera and wave I did that. Then they kicked me out and handed me my ID. My question is are they going to mail me a MIP Or are they just doing that just so if I get into an accident or anything they won't be held responsible. If they do send me an MIP, how long does it take to arrive?? PLEASE HELP!

Only they can answer this question. But experience tells me that they will just leave it there, having scared you. Otherwise they would have called the cops right away.
