We keep getting phone calls saying we owe sprint money from over 12 years ago. The man says he's from drg associates but each number that calls is different. We googled the numbers and name and found a bunch of articles about scanners. They said they're filing a law suit against us. How can we look into this when they won't give any info on the law suit or where they're filing?

We keep getting phone calls saying we owe sprint money from over 12 years ago. The man says he's from drg associates but each number that calls is different. We googled the numbers and name and found a bunch of articles about scanners. They said they're filing a law suit against us. How can we look into this when they won't give any info on the law suit or where they're filing?

They don't file lawsuits. Too much work for a scammer. They want to scare money out of you. Say someone owed $500. Those scammers buy that bad debt for 5¢, maybe 1¢ on the dollar.

Lets say they spent $25.00 to buy the $500 debt. They'll scam the debtor out of $150, $200; easy scam money from a clueless sucker. You're not lifeless, you're no sucker.

Block all of their numbers, or change your number.
From this point forward, don't communicate in anyway with them.
Don't be curious, don't fret and worry, don't feed the scammer.
He or she will eventually disappear, you're too much work, you're not a sucker!

Don't look in to it. Ignore it. Stop answering numbers you don't recognize. The more you talk to them the more they will call.
