Another gym injury. I took my friend to a gym on a free addmission day and after I've showed her how to work with the weights, I left her and gone to the other gym area. In the meantime she decided to use heavier weights and put them on the bar. Unfortunately one of the weight plates fell off and hit one of the people present there at the time. His head was bleeding and he was taken to the local doctor who treated him. The doctor gave him painkillers, which he was allergic to and
as a result developed a muscle condition. Apparently he cannot work and his daughter (who is mentally retarded) who he was carring for had to be placed in the alternative care. The guy is saying that it is all my friend's fault and he is going to sue her for all economic loss. Can he? Please advise...My friend attended the gym for the first time.
