Other Criminal Charges & Offenses Guidance on action to be taken on IPC 338 & 304(A)

A fatal accident had occurred in the Govt factory in early 2014.The case was registered under factory act and decision was given and the management accepted guilty and was penalized. Simultaneously another case under IPC 338 & 304(A) was also registered at the local police station (on the report of the hospital) on responsible executive who was named by the management when he was out of station due to official work and on the safety officer.

What are the probable scenarios? What should be the course of action?
