This is confusing, please read carefully.
A couple in Michigan with two young children living with the mother's family. The mother has a part-time job and the father does not work. Mother is collecting government assistance for both children.
Father gets kicked from the house by the mother's family and moves out of state with the youngest child (with the mother's permission).
The father now has a part-time job but does not receive any assistance for his child but the mother still does.
My question is, can the mother still collect government assistance for a child that does not live with her?
