I have a restraining order on my ex boyfriend. He is allowed to see his daughter every other weekend with a third party pick up. The order says that both parties are not allowed to take our daughter out of state. I have full physical custody. what about vacations and allot of my family lives out of state. I understand i can not move out of state and it cant violate his time with our daughter. does this sound right?

if the order says neither of you can take the child out of state, then that means vacations too it sounds like. Is that what you are asking?

yes that is what I'm asking but why do this? I have always been a traveler and I dont understand why i cant if it doesnt violate his time or im not moving out of state.

If you take the child out of state, be prepared to allow Dad to do the same. Maybe you can get him to agree t make this change?
