I sign a temporary custody order giving custody of my daughter to a family friend. When the order was up I refused to sign perm papers because I wanted my daughter back when I got on my feet. But when I went to get custody back I was told that I signed the permanant custody papers. Well, I now have those papers in front of me and my signature is clearly forged. What can I do about this???

What do you mean when you say you "were told" that you signed papers giving your friend permanent custody? Did you not receive a copy of the original agreement?

The best thing that you can do is find a lawyer. Make certain that you have your original documents, as well as the forged copy with which you've just been provided. Good luck!
