Very long story short: Tried for very long time to obtain loan mod from BoA. Eventually went through Project Hope. Received via FedEx, approval for loan mod, signed and returned documents (via FedEx). Received letter via regular mail, a few days later, denying loan mod. Paid new loan mod. amount for 12 months, then received suit for foreclosure in October. Started mediation process in November. Will go to formal mediation this month. Have faxed to lawyer representing bank all info we have as requested by mediator (cancelled checks for mortgage, loan mod agreement, etc.). Paid mortgage as usual. Bank accepted November, December, January payments. Just returned Feb. payment. I am worried. What did we do wrong? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't have enough information to advise you properly. I suggest you take all paperwork and correspondence to an attorney. You need legal representation if you want a chance at staying in your home.
