hello there,
i'm hoping someone can help me out i work for a tow truck company in michigan and recently i dropped my "on calls" or "commision shifts" where we are paid a percentage and not an hourly wage and my employer agreed at first then i starting putting in apps everywhere for a part time job that would make up for me not being on a commision shift which runs from a friday till the following friday 24/7 after our normal schedule.(with rising taxes in my city i had to find another source of steady income) which i was not gurranteed any money unless i did a call, anyways my ? is now he is trying to force me to work the commision shifts, which is above my normal 40 hrs of course. Is this legal or not? can he force me to work a commision shift when there is no gurantee of any funds???? (i already know he can force overtime but that is compensated) i looked on the michigan dleg and could not find anything.... Any help would be appreciated

Thanx
Tow Truck Driver
