Forced overtime and length

Ohio has absolutely nothing to say on the subject. As long as you are being paid time and a half for any hours over 40 (assuming you are non-exempt) or are making a minimum of $455 per week (if exempt) neither Ohio nor Federal law cares if you are working 168 hours a week, every week.

Surprisingly enough, only two states (ME and CA) have limits as to how many hours may be worked in a work week/pay period; a very small handful of states requires one day off a week but does not limit the number of hours that can be worked in the other six days. Ohio is not among those states.
