Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse first time!

So, I got caught with a rolled up joint of marijuana in my hand when a cop walked up on us in a friend's back yard! This is my first time having a charge and it's for simple possession. What should I look forward to in court three weeks from now? I'm a little scared, so help please!
