So a month ago i went to go take my check out of my debit card. My employer paid me thru a debit card and i would go to a cash register to unload my money. So that day i went to unload 850.00 out of my debit card and left the store with my money. As i got home i wanted to see how much was left in my card. I called a 1800 number and a automated machine tell u ur balance. My balance was 1,700.00. I was sirprised and when back to unload the money. I wondered where the money came from but at this time i had spent the money and the cashier accidentally loaded my card instead of unloading. But i wasnt sure what to do so i didnt say anything. A month later i get fired for theft and i don't know what to do because they said it was a felony what should i do ..was it my fault?

Yes, it was your fault for not reporting the mistake. Your employer certainly had the right to fire you. If they press charges for theft, you will definitely want to get a lawyer.
