I've been seperated for 8 years- in a nut shell, what is the proceedure I need to follow in DuPage County IL. for my situation as followed...2 kids, no assets together (i own a home but his his name isnt and was never on the title), he is pretty much no where to be found most of the time. He doesnt want anything including visitation which is fine as he hasnt seen his kids in 8 yrs, doesnt have a permenant address and i am not seeking child support. seems simple enough however im lost as to what I file first and what the proceedure is when the other party cant be found to contest or agree to the terms?
