My ex has not paid alimony since August- and it was a partial payment- filed contempt order- went before the judge today. Judge did not order him to pay? What are my options- I am about to lose my home?

Why did the Judge not order him to pay? You can file an appeal if there is reason to but you haven't given enough information to know. If your ex lost his job or something has changed, your alimony may go away. Sorry to hear about your home, its tough all over.

No- he has not lost his job

Just told judge that he has had to take money out of his 401k to make ends meet- has remarried and had a new baby- but no change in employment. So hire an atty and file an appeal? What are my chances? I got the house and alimony and that was it- he got all the cash- 401k ira's ect? Should the judge have ordered him to pay as i gave up all that in leiu of alimony?

You need an attorney. If he is suppose to pay alimony the Judge should have ruled for you. An attorney can look at your case to see what was done wrong or at least why he ruled against you.

Hiring an atty

I was trying to save money by filing contempt myself- he showed no reason why he should not have paid- no disability- no job lose? From the reading I did- the judge had no reason not to make him cut a check right then? I will call an atty today. Thanks for you help
