An expungement won't erase the stain. At best, alas, an expungement will do is simply try to clumsily cover the stain. Search the 'net, or this little site. You'll be amazed at how many people were disappointed when their felony convictions were readily accessible to employers as they tried to seek employment, or obtain firearms.

Expungements are very disappointing, plus cost a pretty penny for very little gain.

This link will give you the info you need to determine what kind of relief your conviction may be eligible for (if any). Depending on the offense, it might be easy to do ... or, it might be impossible. You can do this yourself in many instances, but it always helps to have the assistance of legal counsel all the same.
