For the last ten years I've had a federal tax lien on my credit report. Last night I looked at all three credit reporting agencies and there are NO public liens on my credit report. Does this mean that I no longer have a lien against my property? In 98 I filed an unable to pay report for the IRS as I became disabled in 98. Each month they have taken 35% of my LTD and any refund that I would have received after filing my taxes. Just wondering if the lien is really off or can they start all over again. I live in Calif. Thank you

Unless the feds filed a renewal, federal tax liens die after ten years.
