i have an 8 year old son whom i do not have custody of. the mother of my son, which is the primary custiodian, just got arrested due to selling drugs. now if she is found guilty of these charges, am i not supposed to automaticly get full custody of my child? i don't know how to go about getting this taken care of. any advice would help alot. thanks

No, you don't automatically get full custody.

If she is convicted and jailed you would file immediately for at least temporary physical custody (but depending on the length of the sentence you might not be successful).
