Father died with no will ? and stepmother just died last month with no will?

Father died with no will ? and stepmother just died last month with no will? And our step sister is saying it was all left to her and the 3 of of get nothing.
Is there any recourse?

If your dad died before his wife, her daughter is correct; she inherits her mom's estate.

Your dad died intestate, thus his wife got all of his estate. When his wife died, intestate, her estate went to her daughter (including your dad's stuff, that became hers upon his death)!!!
