Hello,My name is Amber. work at a major restaurant chain i dont want to say which one. Anyway my situation is this. A few months ago (like 3) i started working at this place. Its basically like a sandwich shop if that will help.Well my bf and I worked there. Since we recently moved downstate and needed jobs. So this one incident happened.One day we went in to get lunch.We made out sandwiches and I thought my bf had paid. So we continued to sit there and eat our food for like an hour. Noone came to us and said we didnt pay so we had no idea. So our boss called and was flipping out cuz we never paid. We apologized and payed for our stuff the next day (the store was closed) and she said that she would forget about it then. So after two or three weeks, she fires my bf for not being a "Team PLayer" as she puts it. So that is just bogus.And thats not even the bad part.She hired this new guy. Even though it sucks, the worst part is that I was faslely accused of stealing more then a few times. There is no evidence in the first place and I know for a fact that I didnt do it. Me and this guy work pretty much the same shift and she has the audasity to accuse me of stealing, not him. Im just wondering if there is some type of legal action I can take if she fires me on the account.I didnt steal anything from her and she believes the guy that was hired 2 months after me then me.
