I reside in one state and have an open child support/ custody case in another state. Where can I get legal help since some stupid law was made the case where the state is has jurisdiction?

From an attorney in the other state involved. And that 'stupid law' creating jurisdiction protects parents of children from 'foreign' filings.

You can check with that state's bar assoc. for a referral to an attorney.

I suggest in the future if you remarry you select someone that mutually believes a spouse should not be someone you love that you can live with, but someone you love that you cannot live without.
