If you've been accused of ANY crime, you appear in court when directed, plead NOT guilty, hire yourself an attorney (if you believe you qualify for a public defender - ask the judge to appoint one), then you stay out of trouble and away from the victim(s), meet with your lawyer, answer his or her questions, wait.....

A crime of this magnitude rarely gets tossed, so forget this ending quickly.
