Hello,
I was named executor of my brother's estate, which consists of just his home. The estate is now out of probate and I do not know what to do next. I have an EIN and plan to open an account, but do I have the house appraised? The deed is no where to be found, so what can I do about that. The lawyer told me to contact the probate judge, which I did with no response. I want to make sure I do everything right, but I am at a point that I do not know what to do next?
