So, to give a brief history..My ex-wife and I have been divorced for 2 years. We have 2 children whom we share custody of. We just went in front of a judge on April 27, 2010 in regards to her making false claims that our current Parenting Time schedule is having an adverse effect on our children. This was a tactical move on her part due to her finding out I in fact was in the midst of filing a motion because of many ongoing issues regarding our children while in her care. Exposing them to a registered sex offender, allowing her recently convicted DD of a boyfriend to chaufer the children around. The bf in fact is the 3rd she has had move in with her since the divorce. The hearing in front of teh referee went very well for me, in fact the referee stated taht her claims had no merit, and that she could not change the parenting time schedule just because she didn't like it anymore. There was no Clear an Convincing Evidence to validate any of her claims. She then stated and I quote "So, I have to wait till my children suffer or that he goes crazy before the court will help me?" The referee adjourned teh hearing to May 24th to address the otehr issues that due to time constraints weren't adressed. The referee than stated to me that the concerns I had were valid, and that I need to get in with my motion ASAP. Now, I just was handed by her mother papers yesterday stating that my ex has filed a PPO against me. Accusing me of taking pictures of her and her bf. Following them etc. She even went on to say taht I made a sexual advance in her home and she had to struggle to get away. SHe said this occured back in October. However on Oct 31st, I was invited by her to accompany her and her friend and our daughters trick or treating? Lies!! She said she is extremely fearful, that her dog is exhibiting new behavior sych as barking in teh night, so she is saying that I'm lurking in the shadows at night etc...I am in a comitted relationship and have been since July. We are engaged and have been living together since February. I am a business owner and frankly I just don't have the time to do all tehse things and be succesful enough to pay her her $1000 child support. Her bf and her both do not work BTW. State Aid, and Food Stamps and free housing provided to her by her parents. Just thought you'd liek to realize what your tax dollares are funding. So the hearing for this PPO is in a week. What advice does anyone have in regards to how to handle this. Also, the Petition for teh PPO states that pick ups and drop offs are to be conducted at the police station by her house. 25 miles from mine of course..cutting into my parenting time with teh kids. Does that go into effect now?, or only after the hearing if it was ordered? Also, the date that the PPO was filed was May 3, 2010. The date that she received my motion in the mail. Coincidence? I think not! What legal reprucutions can she face for defamation of character and slander too?

Thanks!

There is a lot of chaff in your wheat.
I left it there for you to cogitate and reflect on.

Bottom line, if you plan to fight these types of ridiculous and vindictive accusations, you need a lawyer.
I believe you, because I read your entire post.
It sounds truthful, but it also shows you've been hurt.
You're mad.
Who wouldn't be?

But, if you want to defeat her, hire a lawyer.
If you don't, you'll only use the court room to appear as if you're a brute, a thug, an oaf, AND A LOUT.

THOSE THINGS YOU AREN'T!

That is why a lawyer needs to fight this battle for you, without emotion, just the facts and law.

Frankly, you'd be a fool to ever set foot in her house again.
You'd be a bigger fool if she ever set foot in yours.
An unbiased police station, sheriff's office, state police post, or courthouse makes sense.
That way, everything is witnessed and observed by unbiased parties.

She's so evil and stupid, she's helping you by thinking its hurting you.
The police station selected should be half-way between BOTH homes.
That way, when someone is late, it gets documented.
If children arrive with bruises, it gets documented.
She's helping you, and screwing herself.
