Ex not picking up children

My ex has suddenly decided he will not be taking the children for his weekend visitation. No explaination to me, just told the kids (age 12 & 13). I have contacted him and he did state he was not picking them up this weekend and it was "between him and the children" how long this continues. Is there anything that I can do to get him to tell he how long this will continue or must I just wait every other weekend to see if he picks them up. I am also worried that since he will give me nothing in writing concerning this he will decide to call the police some weekend saying I denied him access (yes he is that vendictive)

As a NCP, he is not required to use his visits. So if he has told you he will not be picking up the children, leave it at that. You certainly are not required to give him any make up time either. Until he tell you he does not want the children for a particular weekend, you must make them available.
