Okay, so I am 17 and I haven't lived with my parents for going on 7 months now. They don't support me and I rarely talk to them. I am in the National Guard and wanting to leave for boot camp sooner than my parents will let me, because they do have to sign for me to leave since I'm 17. I also want to get a loan for college and a car, both of these things I need to be 18 for. I believe, along with a bunch of others, I will be better of emancipated. Neither of them will petition the court for me to become emancipated. Is there any way I can still petition the court by myself?

Not in Florida. If your parents will not file an emacipation petition, then you cannot be emancipated. End of discussion. No loopholes, no exceptions.

okay, real quick, I read on a couple sites now, since I'm active duty military I'm already legally emancipated. Is this true?

Again, not in Florida. Whether or not being in the active military automatically emancipates you is state specific and there is nothing in the Florida regs that confers legal emancipation on minors in the military.
