Email use as evidence on Adultery

I found yahoo accounts that my husband was using to contact his "dates". Can I use this as evidence.

Is there anything illegal about getting this information? I used a keyboard recording software, but I was looking for financial disclosure and found this information instead.

What state are you in?

In most states it does not matter who committed adultery since most states (with the exception of a few) are no fault.

So even if you could prove adultery, it might not matter for alimony.

doesn't matter

It is no fault in Texas, but it possible to sue for adultery. It's just a bigger hassle, but if the divorce is you spouse's fault and you can prove it, then go for adultery b/c he or she will have to pay your legal fees.
