I am a NJ resident. While briefly living in Florida I was convicted of a DUI.
At the time I had neither a NJ or FL drivers license. I never had a FL license and the NJ had expired.
I spent 29 days in a county jail and received 6 months "County" probation.
The probationary time started on January 25, 2008. Part of the terms of my probation is attending a DUI school.
With the permission of my FL probation officer, I returned to NJ a few weeks ago and re-instated my NJ license. Now, I want to enroll in an NJ DUI class to complete the terms of my FL probation.
I called Trenton and was told I could send a certified check for the cost of the school but also I must state the reason for attending this school.
I am afraid that in doing so my NJ drivers license will now be revoked.
Any help or information will be much appreciated.
