Corporate Law Does EIN belong to LLC? or Individual?

I opened a business LLC and I was the registered agent and I applied for an EIN. I recently pulled my name off of the registered agent list, and placed my sister under as the sole member of the company. Will she have to apply for a new EIN?

The EIN belongs to the business entity, not to a person.

It isn't the same as a SSN.

You should verify this with the IRS.
