Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Does anyone know what kind of pentalty you get for taking alcohol to school

What is the end result to a l8yr. old taking alcohol to school and giving some to a l5yrs. old. She was attending a private school, and they said she can't come back. But do home study to get her degree. Please any help will be greatly appreciated. Syl

It depends on the contract. Since this is a private school you have a contract with the school. I can imagine that the school sees this conduct as a major breach of its rules and therefore as a breach of contract. That would enable them to not let the student come back. It really depends on the language of the contract and the rules.

In criminal law it might be a violation or even a misdemeanor, depending on the jurisdiction and circumstances.
