I am from ID. I want a divorce from my husband of 12 years. I really just want out. We Have 2 children (7 and 5). I want this to be as cost effective as possible. How are things such as LegalZoomdot com? I realize that before we file we should have an attorney review the paperwork. Any suggestions?

Your states law library should have free forms packets specific to your state. Check it out. http://www.in.gov/judiciary/forms/

Look around on there for a packet. If you can't find it, email them, they will prob. email it back as an attachment.

You are not required to have a lawyer look over you papers. They may not dimsiss for a techinical defect. The forms are simple.

If you think there will be an issue of custody/visitation, you will need the "Contested Divorce" Packet. Good luck.

Thank you for the advice. I will definitely use that. If I can get free legal aid, why do I want to pay thousands of dollars. I just cant afford that.
