I have been working for a resturant for 2 yrs we have recently obtained a new manager. On tuesday i made a stupid mistake of putting money in my pocket because i was not on the clock yet and was waiting to ring it in. My general manager told me to go home for the day she knew i wasnt stealling but, she had to talk to the owner. Wend. i came in and talked to the owner he told me he was thinking about the course of action but nothing was ever said as far as what it would be. That night at the resturant i was not allowed on for my shift the new manager lined everyone up in a roll call line and told everyone that i was fired because i had stolen money from a customer and that they are making an example of me. They all called me right away and told me this.then the next day i was told nothing was going to happen to me to come in for my shift so i did and while i was there a friend of mine came to me and told me that the manager pulled her into the office even tho i was there and told her that i was fired because i stole money..i just want to know what kind of case i have against this man because i am scared for future employeers to call him.. if he will tell my staff things that are false then what will he tell others not to mention i am humiliated and i feel my name is smudged because i am not a theif
