Divorce while Pregnant

I got my girlfriend of more than a year pregnant. She is currently married in New York State to someone else who she has been physically but not legally separated from since she began living with me and her son (from him). I just want to know if she can begin a divorce process in New York while she is pregnant?

Pregnancy is no bar to a woman who wishes to seek a divorce.
Women and men are equals in the eyes of the law.

Just to add if her Divorce is not done by time she has your child her husband will become legal Father unless someone does something to prevent that
