My ex wife and I have been happily (divorced) for 12 years. Upon being served divorce papers by her I broken heartedly agreed to a 50/50 split of my (2) retirement funds.

I wished I had not settled for the 50/50 split.

Is there any legal footing to pursue getting back the (lesser) of my (2) retirement funds? Her share is ($497.00) monthly?

Sincerely,

Brad

While Oregon will occasionally allow a divorce settlement to be reviewed (reopened), not only are you beyond the statute of limitations, but you have no chance in circumstances (which is a requirement).

Sorry, but regret is not a valid reason to reopen the divorce.

As has been stated, regret (divorcer's remorse) is of little legal value.

Isn't $500 a month a small price to pay for peace, tranquility, happiness, and serenity in one's life?

I think you made the best deal possible to be free from any issues that caused the two of you to split.

Agree, sorry, but not anything you can do at this late date.
