discrimination reversed

I recently interviewed with a top home improvement retailer for a full time position. I have every qualification and more for the position. The interview went great and they said in 3 days they would make a decision. On the 3rd day they called and left a voicemail on my phone say "the interview process had been opened back up to gather a more african pool." I was also told I did not need to reapply and that they would be calling when they made a decision. I still have the voicemail. The regional HR manager is aware of this but keeps putting me off about a solution. I want the job but what options do I have given this statement??
