my husband filed for divorce 3 years ago and it was never finalized due to us not agreeing on property we both have. we spoke the other day and realized that we both have made attempts to a settlement with our lawyers but it seems like there is no communication between the lawyers. we both think they are taking us for a ride. the next step is a masters hearing which is pretty costly and we don't want the expense. can we make a settlement between us and go to a different lawyer to do the paperwork and get this over with. thank you
