Yes, if you have parental permission you may date. The law does not give two hoots who you hang out with at the mall, go to school events or movies or wherever else kids go today with, or who you recognize as your significatn other. If your parents are good with it, the law is good with it.

Where the law gets testy is when "dating" translates into "having carnal knowledge of". The law very much cares who you are having sexual contact with if you are a minor. Please note that sexual contact is not limited to intercourse.

Okay we dont have sexual contact my father or mother goes with us if we go on a date I was asking cause dhr was involved with my sister kids an she asked me if I was daten I said yea an she asked how old I told her she said he wouldnt get introuble but I wanted to make sure cause if he would I was gonna endIit so he wouldn't we been together almost a year now
