Does anyone have any information regarding the age that a child can file a motion to live with his noncustodial parent (in Texas)? Thanks!

Usually the age is 12 or 13. I'm not sure what Texas is. Look at your state's child support guidelines. Just because a child wants to live with the other parent, the judge doesn't have to let them. Call your child support office and ask or go here

Good Luck.

There is no guarantee a judge will abide by the childs wishes at that age. You would have to file a motion for custody and hopefully the judge will take it into consideration, but the judge does not have to abide by that.
