I have 2 step son's one is my husband biological son age 14 and one age
16 1/2 that he has raised from the age of 2, we have been married for 9 years now and have kept up on support for the 14 year old but have done visitation and everything else for both boys. the 16 year old's father is behind on support, hasn't seen him in over a year and has spoke to him on the phone about 4 times in the last year. Here is my question... the ex wife's husband had to transfer jobs out of state. The 16 year old wants to stay here with us, his mom is willing to let him stay and sign any necessary paper work so that he can live with us. What do we need to do? can she just sign a paper giving us temporary guardianship
