Husband and his ex have joint legal and physical custody of their daughter. Their decree only states that any decision where the daughter is concerned will be handled outside of court by the parents. Things have gone badly for a few years and it's come to head as she's pulled many stunts (a few illegal) and we are tired of it and have taken her to court on contempt of court charges. So, here we are: husband's ex will most likely pursue full custody; my husband wants a continuation of joint physical and legal custody but with an honest to God shared parenting plan in place. My guess is that the court will order them to work out a SPP but she, just to be a pain in the neck, will not agree to anything and will let it drag on for a looooonnnng time. Can my husband request a time limit be set ? This is for state of Ohio. Thanks BTW, ex has attorney and husband does not.
