I recently file a suit against my employer for salaried exempt misclassification. The company had a meeting (approximately 15 warehouse managers). Some of the people in the meeting are above me. However, others are on my same level. At this meeting it was announced that they were being sued. They also disclosed my name to everyone as well. Convienenntly, it was scheduled during my vacation, and I was left out of the loop regarding any meeting at all. Can they do that? I am under the direction to keep everything confidential. Wouldn't they be under the same discretion. I feel really uncomfortable and "called out".

Nothing illegal about it.

Not exactly wonderful practice, but it's not illegal.
